” The new truck service center and logistics operation facility for Dart Transit is nearing completion, reports Jim Mundy, design build coordinator and project executive with Contegra Construction Co. in Edwardsville. Construction on the Gateway Commerce Center site is scheduled for completion by the end of November.
“Dart Transit is expanding their operations into this area,” said Mundy.
He said the new facility is expected to create more than 200 new jobs in the Edwardsville area within the next three years when finished. The company expects to hire 200 over-the-road truck drivers and 30 support personnel and service technicians…”
