The Boeing Co.’s defense productions in the St. Louis area represent a “robust portfolio,” with significant demand worldwide for the F-15 fighter jet, T-7A pilot trainer jet and munitions, a high-ranking company executive said Tuesday.

The top priority with the T-7A is to deliver the new pilot trainer to the U.S. Air Force, but there also is marketing potential for the aircraft globally, said Bernd Peters, vice president for business development and strategy for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
