St. Louis Regional Freightway officials this week announced a 300-acre port district-zoned property along the Mississippi River in Herculaneum, Missouri, is available for intermodal development.

The site includes 2 miles of river frontage, a 200-acre buffer and access to Union Pacific Railroad and Interstate 55. Owned by the Doe Run Co., the site recently received the port district zoning, making way for its redevelopment as an intermodal transportation hub and industrial park, according to a St. Louis Regional Freightway press release.
