Caitlin Murphy, a female maverick in the global logistics industry, founded Global Gateway Logistics in St. Louis in 2017, and has experienced substantial revenue growth in the five-year period of her company.
Because of her ocean freight shipping and global supply chain expertise, Murphy has been quoted by multiple national publications and was appointed by Governor Mike Parsons to the Missouri Supply Chain Task Force to help identify potential improvements to supply chain issues. In 2021, Murphy was one of the youngest women named to a public board of directors when Plymouth Industrial Reit Inc. appointed her to their board for her extensive experience.
